Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson comes from a musical family. As a child, she was inspired by classical music, boleros and the traditional romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos and opera, as well as all dramatic performances. She started singing and studying music with her mother, and commenced more serious singing training when she was 16 under the renown Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. The training in music continued at the School of Music of Guadalajara University. Later, she attended the School of Sacred Music of Toluca. When she was a student, and a young professional, she was a part of numerous chamber ensembles and opera choruses throughout Guadalajara as well as Mexico City. When she moved from Mexico to America around 2000, she sang for the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She is currently performing classic Latin American songs at private occasions as a soloist. As a teacher and musician she has volunteered for many projects in the community due to her enthusiasm
