 Ann Margret is a Swedish-American singer, actress, and dancer who has an estimated net worth of $25 million. She is famous for her role in the films "Bye Bye Birdie" "Viva Las Vegas," "Grumpy Old Men" and "A Streetcar Named Desire.. "Ann-Margret Olsson was born the 28th of April 1941 in Stockholm, Sweden. Her parents returned to their small town in the arctic region of north central Sweden shortly after she was born. The province she described as Jamtland as being one of the smallest farming and lumberjacking community. Her father emigrated to the US with her, as well as her mother joined him in 1946.She was raised in a suburb near Chicago and was made naturalized in 1949. She was a dancer as a young girl and was capable of performing with ease. Before she had to take a job as a funeral parlor receptionist her mother would make every one of her costumes for recitals with her hands. LA along with the rest of the group decided to return to Chicago however, Ann-Margret chose to remain. She signed a deal for a record with Warner Bros in 1960.
